Why Steven Smith form is a big concern for Australia in Test cricket?

Steven Smith, a batter who ruled the longest format of game is now finding his form in Test cricket. Steven Smith started his career in Test cricket as a Leg spinner and he was supposed to be next Shane Warne of Australian cricket but after some years he started his focus on batting. After 1-2 years he started perform as a batter in Test cricket and he showed to world that he is ready to rule Test cricket. He started scoring runs in Test cricket and in next 4-5 years he scored lot of runs in Test cricket for Australia. His peak form was on that level where no one can ever think to imagine, he was a batter who scored runs for fun in prime. Smith scored runs across all countries and he proved himself as a batter who can score runs in any conditions. In 2017 when he came to India to play Test series pressure was on Smith to perform but Smith never took that pressure on himself and he smashed 3 centuries in 4 Test match series and his knock in Pune was a proper nasterclass where he showed he can also play very good against spinners. In 2018 he suspended by Cricket Australia because of involvement in a Ball tampering in a Test match in South Africa. In 2019 , when his suspension over then he started playing International cricket and he scored runs in ICC Men's Odi world cup 2019 but main test was waiting for Steven Smith and that main Test was Ashes Series 2019, there were many questions on Steven Smith and those questions were "will Steven Smith able to perform in Ashes?" . Steven Smith was not that type of player who will afraid from these questions and he silenced to all critics by scoring a brilliant hundred in the first innings of the first Ashes Test where Australian Team were struggling but Steven Smith showed to who is not finished yet and he scored another century in second innings. He finished Ashes Series on a very high note where he scored 774 Runs in 4 Test matches where he smashed three centuries including 1 Double hundred. In next 2-3 years Steven Smith performed good for Australia but Since 2022 his form got huge dip in Test cricket and because of that average got dipped from 60 to 56 , his form got dipped because of his batting stance. There was a time when Smith was batting with same batting stance he was scoring runs, oppositions were thinking bowl onto Pads and he will got easily but that time Steven Smith hand eye coordination was very sharp and because of that he was scoring boundaries on those bowls but now he is facing issues against Same bowling. Steven Smith is a player who always find new ways to scoring runs and he needs to find that method where he can score runs because Australian team is currently playing BGT series where they lose badly by Indian team and Steven Smith was failed to score runs. After this series Australia will be played another big series next year against England and that is the biggest series for Australia, if Australia loses these 2 series then this could be the end of Steven Smith career.
