Why should Indian team not try to create an all format player?

In international cricket teams always wanted a player who can play all format and for that they always give more than enough chances to players but despite giving too much chances only few cricketers able to perform in all format, same things are happening in Indian cricket now where they are trying to create some all format players but that thing is not good because there are many players who performed brilliantly but because of these things they are losing their places from playing XI. In last 20 years Indian cricket team tried many players for all formats but only few able to perform in all formats , for example Indian team tried white ball stars like Yuvraj and Raina in Test cricket for seeing his performance in white balls but they failed to perform in Test cricket while Indian team tried a T20I superstar Suryakumar Yadav for ODI cricket and Test cricket just because of his batting performance in T20I cricket but Suryakumar Yadav failed in both formats and now he is focusing on only T20I cricket. In Indian cricket there are many players who selected in the team just because of good records in T20I or but when they start to play other formats their batting techniques gets exposed but they will get too much chances in other formats because you performed well in other formats, in world cricket if you will see Australian team they are not considering a white ball superstar Glenn Maxwell for Test cricket and this shows how their team management knows the selection of players in International cricket. In Indian cricket selections of Test team depends on the performance in IPL this shows the understanding of game, yes team needs some players who can play all formats because this will help teams for creating a good squad but you should also know the value of those players who are playing only one or two formats. If Sanju Samson is a good batter than Shubman Gill in T20 cricket then Samson should play ahead of Shubman Gill because Samson plays only one format while Gill also plays other two formats and he can wait for his chance in T20I cricket whenever Samson fails in T20Is. Indian team needs to select players according to the format not on the basis of performance in T20I, if you are selecting a team for Test cricket then you should select players from domestic cricket not from IPL.
