A streak that was never a real streak.

Indian cricket team is one of the greatest team in International cricket , they are known for their brilliant performance. In last series Indian team lose badly against New Zealand in Test cricket at home conditions and their winning streak of 18 Test series at home breached by New Zealand in this Test series but was that winning 18 Test series at home streak a real streak, let's see. 

18 Home Test series winning streak, Real?

This streak was started in 2013 when Indian team beat Australia by 4-0 and after that Indian team performed well but because of worst performance outside India in Test cricket MSD resigned as a Test captain in 2014 and Virat Kohli became the new Test captain of Indian team in Test format. Virat played his first home Test series against South Africa as a captain and in that series he misused the home conditions and he played that series on turning tracks where even part-time bowlers were enough to take wickets but after that series he changed his decision to play on turning tracks and he started playing on good pitches but once again in 2017 when Australian cricket team came India to play Test series then once again Virat Kohli started misused his power and decided to play on turning track but in first Test match Indian team lost important toss and after that Australia beat India very badly but after that loss Indian team still prepared another turning track and India won match and after that match Indian team played last 2 matches on good pitches. In 2019 ICC announced WTC tournament and Indian team played matches in home conditions on good pitches but in 2021 when England beat India in first match and after that match Virat Kohli started to play matches on dust bowl pitches where matches were getting over in 2 days and because of that Indian team received many criticisms. In 2022 Rohit Sharma appointed as a captain but he still continued that trend till 2023 Australia series but after that Indian team changed their method and they played this year series against England on good pitches but once again they started this theory and New Zealand decode this method and India lost very badly and they showed those 18 series winning streak was not a real streak.

Does senior players of MI really underperform under Hardik Pandya captaincy?
