Who Will Open the Innings: Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli or Yashasvi Jaiswal?
Finding an opening pair will be tough question for Indian Cricket Team because there are three players who are the contenders to open the innings in T20I World Cup. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli or Yashasvi Jaiswal are the three contenders to open the innings in T20I World Cup. Before this tournament when last time India played a T20I Series Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal was the opener batters. But after that series things has been changed because in IPL Virat Kohli performance was phenomenal with bat in opening position and Yashasvi Jaiswal performance dipped in IPL. Rohit Sharma is a permanent opener batter of Indian cricket team in T20I format. It will be a tough question for Indian cricket team to decide the opening combination.
Who will be the Wicketkeeper: Rishabh Pant or Sanju Samson?
Finding a wicketkeeper will be another tough question for Indian Cricket Team because there are two contenders for Wicketkeeping, Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson are the contenders. Rishabh Pant was a permanent wicketkeeper in T20I cricket but now Sanju Samson is the first choice wicketkeeper of Indian Cricket Team in T20I cricket but Rishabh Pant bats middle order and Lower order that makes his place ahead of Sanju Samson in Playing XI, Rishabh Pant is a brilliant Wicketkeeper who can change the match with his Wicketkeeping . Sanju Samson is also a good batter and Wicketkeeper but he bats in Top Order and there is no place for him in Top Order .
Who will be the finishers?
In T20I cricket finishers job is very important but in Indian team there is no player who can do this job with confidence. Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dubey and Ravindra Jadeja are likely to be finishers but performance of these players are not good. Rinku Singh was the one designated finisher but because of squad combination he was dropped from T20I World Cup squad. Records of Jadeja and Hardik will not giving the confidence to Indian team management because these players unabled to finished many chases in previous years in T20I cricket. Shivam Dubey is also a player who can play as a finisher but in last overs he struggled against high quality fast bowlers and Indian cricket team will not take this chance.
Who will be 3rd Spinner : Axar Patel or Yuzvendra Chahal?
Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav will be first two spinners will be in Indian Playing XI but finding third spinner will be a tough decisions because there will be two spinners who will fight for his place in Playing XI as a third Spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal and Axar Patel are those contenders for third spinner in Playing XI. Axar Patel is a left arm orthodox bowlers his bowling style is similar to Ravindra Jadeja but he is a brilliant fielder and he is also a good batter who can play at any position and can bat in any situation but Yuzvendra Chahal is a leg spinner and he is the No.1 T20I bowler of Indian cricket team. He is an attacking option for any captain because he always goes for wickets sometimes he may get expensive but he can take 4-5 wickets in those matches. Yuzvendra Chahal wicket taking ability make his place ahead of Axar Patel in Indian playing XI.
Who will be Second Fast Bowler with Jasprit Bumrah?
There are two contenders for Second Fast Bowler, Arshdeep Singh and MD Siraj are those bowlers. Hardik Pandya is a fast bowling All-rounder that's why Indian cricket team will only two main fast bowlers. Arshdeep Singh is a left arm pacer who can swing ball and last T20I World cup match against Pakistan was a great example where he takes the wicket of Babar Azam in his first over. MD Siraj is also a good bowler, Siraj is a Right arm fast bowler but he lacks control in his bowling. Siraj has not played consistent T20I cricket for Indian cricket team in last 2-3 years and it will be interesting to see the choice of team management. Arshdeep Singh have more bowling variations than MD Siraj and because he is also a left arm pacer that makes his place ahead of MD Siraj in Indian playing XI.
