TATA IPL 2024 Match Report - KKR vs SRH

IPL playoffs started yesterday and first match played between KKR and SRH in Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. SRH won the toss and they decided to Bat first in a high-pressure match. SRH openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head came to bat but KKR Bowler Mitchell Starc had other plans, In the second ball of SRH innings Mitchell Starc bowled Travis Head and put the pressure on SRH. Other opener Abhishek Sharma tried to hit big shots but he got out on 3 runs to Vaibhav Arora. Mitchell Starc takes another 2 wickets in his third over and destroyed the batting line-up of SRH. Heinrich Klassen and Rahul Tripathi started to building a partnership and they added 62 runs but KKR spinner Varun Chakraravarthy takes the wicket of Klassen and ended the partnership of 62 runs. On other End Rahul Tripathi completed his 50 but after some overs Rahul Tripathi got runout because of a miscommunication between him and Abdul Samad. In the end overs SRH Captain Pat Cummins scored runs and SRH finished their innings on 159 runs. 
KKR needed 160 Runs to Win the match and their opener batters Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Sunil Narine came to bat. KKR openers started to play big shots and they added 44 runs for the first wicket. Rahmanullah Gurbaz got out on 23 runs in 14 balls but when Gurbaz got out KKR Score was 44 Runs in 3.1 overs, Sunil Narine was playing very well but he also got out on 21 runs in 16 balls. But KKR No.3 and No.4 batters Venkatesh Iyer and Shreyas Iyer started attack on SRH bowlers and they both didn't give any chances to SRH to come back into the match. Venkatesh Iyer Scored his fifty in 28 balls and KKR captain Shreyas Iyer scored his fifty in 23 balls. Shreyas Iyer finished the match for KKR with a six and KKR qualified for the final of TATA IPL 2024 . Mitchell Starc won the "Player of the Match "award for his sensational bowling. 

Turning Point of the match: 

Wicket of Travis Head was the turning point of the match. Travis Head got out on 0 run and got out on an inswinger of Mitchell Starc and this was the turning point of the match.

Does senior players of MI really underperform under Hardik Pandya captaincy?
