Indian cricket team squad discussion

Indian cricket team has announced their squad for ICC Men's T20I World Cup 2024 . In their team 9 players are from ICC Men's T20I world cup 2022 squad. Experience players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya are also in team. But in their team Players like Ravi Bishnoi, Mukesh Kumar, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Tilak Verma, Rinku Singh has been dropped from the squad. Indian team management prepared Rinku Singh and Tilak Verma for ICC Men's T20I world cup 2024 but both players are not part of Indian squad for ICC Men's T20I world cup 2024 . Where other teams like Australia and England are moving from their big names in T20I cricket while Indian cricket team is still playing with big names in T20I cricket. Those players who performed in the absence of big names has been dropped from team. But biggest exclusion in the squad is Rinku Singh, who was the designated finisher of Indian Cricket Team in T20I format but Rinku Singh has been dropped from T20I World Cup squad. Another Big exclusion is Tilak Verma, who performed very well but because of senior players Tilak Verma has been dropped from T20I World Cup squad. Players like Shivam Dubey, Yuzvendra Chahal and Sanju Samson is also a part of Indian squad for ICC Men's T20I world cup 2024 . These players performed very well in IPL 2024 , that's why these players selected for T20I World Cup. But biggest problem will be for Indian Cricket Team will be their fast bowling because excluding Bumrah all fast bowlers are not in form. Batting is also a concern for Indian Cricket Team because their batters Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Yashasvi Jaiswal are not in form. Virat Kohli is scoring runs but his strike Rate outside powerplay is very worrying signs for Indian Cricket team. Spin bowlers are in form excluding Ravindra Jadeja.

Note: This is a provisional squad for ICC Men's T20I World Cup, teams can change their squd till May 25.

Does senior players of MI really underperform under Hardik Pandya captaincy?
