Rohit Sharma is Considered a Great Captain in IPL. In IPL Rohit Sharma Record as a Captain is Great he Won 5 trophies as a Captain. He is Currently Captain of Indian Cricket Team in All three formats . Rohit Sharma recently Won his 2nd Asia Cup Title as a Captain. Rohit Sharma Records in International Cricket as a Captain are also Great. 

Rohit Sharma Captaincy in IPL:

Rohit Sharma became the captain of Mumbai Indians in the year 2013. But Rohit Sharma's captaincy skills were first recognized by the great Australian batsman Adam Gilchrist in the IPL in the year 2009. And Rohit Sharma was appointed the vice-captain of his team by the IPL franchise Deccan Chargers in IPL 2009.After leaving Deccan Chargers, Rohit Sharma went to Mumbai Indians and Rohit Sharma continued playing as a batsman in the team.
In the year 2013, Mumbai Indians included the great Australian captain and batsman Ricky Ponting in their team as captain.But Ricky Ponting resigned from the captaincy in the middle of the IPL tournament due to the poor performance of himself and the team And Rohit Sharma was appointed the captain of the team. Rohit Sharma took command of the team and made the team champion under his captaincy. And after that Rohit Sharma did not look back and today he is the best captain in the history of IPL. Rohit Sharma has won 5 IPL tournaments under his captaincy. 

Rohit Sharma Captaincy in International Cricket:

Seeing the success of Rohit Sharma's captaincy in IPL, Rohit Sharma was appointed the vice-captain of the Indian cricket team in the year 2017.At the end of 2017, Rohit Sharma was given the captaincy for the first time in the ODI and T20 series against Sri Lanka due to the unavailability of regular captain Virat Kohli.Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the Indian cricket team performed well and defeated Sri Lanka 2-1 in the ODI series and 3-0 in the T20 series.  Rohit Sharma was once again appointed captain for the Nidahas Trophy to be held in Sri Lanka in the year 2018 due to the unavailability of Virat Kohli.Indian cricket team under the Captain Rohit Sharma Performed Very well and Won the Tournament. Rohit Sharma was once again appointed Captain in 2018 for the Biggest Tournament in Asia "Asia Cup". The Indian cricket team won the Asia Cup under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma and with this victory Rohit Sharma gave the message that he is ready to captain the Indian cricket team. In the year 2021, Virat Kohli resigned from his T20 captaincy and Rohit Sharma was appointed as the new T20 captain of the team. Rohit Sharma was appointed the new captain of the ODI team after a few days. In the year 2022, Rohit Sharma was appointed the new Test captain of the Indian cricket team and today Rohit Sharma is the captain of the Indian cricket team in all formats. Rohit Sharma has impressed everyone with his captaincy at the international level.The Indian cricket team recently won its eighth Asia Cup under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma by defeating Sri Lanka. And Rohit Sharma will now try to make the Indian cricket team champion in the ODI World Cup starting from 5th October.
